About me

I’m Czech artist and anthropologist living and creating in Čtyřkoly (and sometimes Prague), Czech Republic.

I am trying to tell a story through my artworks, open uncomfortable topics, reflect and analyse some sociocultural phenomena, break taboos and deviate from generally accepted cultural constructs. 
I am focusing on stories connected to motherhood (including childlessness and the experience of baby loos), perception of a body and sexuality.  My art features almost exclusively female characters who embody these stories.  

I exhibited my artworks besides Czechia also in Peru, Brazil, Mexico, Spain, Germany and many more… (as listed here). My art exhibitions are sometimes also some kind of psychomagical acts with wider message and overlap into spiritual~ritualistic experience.
I am using combination of techniques and experimenting with different kind of paints, pens and substances on photograph, canvas (or any kind of suitable surface).

As an anthropologist I finished one fieldwork in Morocco and I am teaching at Charles University and working on my PhD with fieldwork in Peru, where I worked for several years as a tour guide for travel agency Alvarez. My anthropological education very deeply influences my artistic expression, however art gives me much more expressive freedom. 

In years 2020 – 2023 I also worked as an art director at Beseder Gallery, where I curated and organized art exhibitions and wide range of cultural events, including the art exhibition for the 80th birthday of academical sculptor Kurt Gebauer, two art exhibitions of Otto Placht in cooperation with the Peruvian embassy and many more. 

I am currently working again as a tour guide, this time at Costa Rica and I also cooperate with care service Zůstat spolu doma (stay together at home).
